To help us achieve this we're recruiting a commercially-minded User Experience Researcher to work with us in our shiny new offices in Cobham, Surrey - a short train ride from Waterloo station and close to the A3/M25. The role You will work with the Usability and Customer Insights Manager to: . Plan, set-up and carry out in-house user research studies independently and to a high level of quality . Plan, set-up and manage focus groups, online panel studies, automated usability testing, remote usability testing, contextual inquiry, stakeholder interviews, task analysis and eye-tracking studies . Produce succinct yet elegant reports with robust, practical recommendations . Produce video clips of research findings for dissemination across the business . Work within an Agile process, collaborating closely with in-house Interaction and Creative Designers, I.T. Developers, Operations, Marketing and the Website Effectiveness team Skills, knowledge and behaviour Required qualities . Proven ability and willingness to plan, set-up and run usability studies with minimal supervision . A good undergraduate or postgraduate degree in psychology, HCI, usability or a related field . Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills . Commercial awareness . An enthusiastic team-focused attitude and ability to build strong relationships throughout the company . The ability to combine research vigour with pragmatism and diplomacy . Familiar with Morae software . Highly IT literate with a strong interest in usability and effective website design Preferred qualities . Web analytics skills . Knowledge of the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) and WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative)
