Job Description - Maintain the accuracy of GBM's Fixed Asset Register-
- Actively participate in the commercial service provided to GBM within the agreed hours-
- Identify opportunities to enhance the service delivery to increase process efficiency-
- Identify cost saving/cost avoidance opportunities without compromising service delivery-
- Monitor accuracy of inventory of IT equipment maintained by Asset Logistics-
Requirements Previous asset management experience required- Responsibilities - IT Asset and Inventory Management
Owner of the Asset Point database for GBM IT inventory and fixed asset register, Close liaison with Asset Logistics team to ensure all new IT purchases, moves and changes, etc are entered in a timely manner to maximise accuracy Maintain the IT FAR for GBM, including validation of CAPEX invoices, capitalisation of equipment (in accordance with GBM policy), writeoffs and cost centre transfers- Provide timely reporting to Finance and customers on IT assets and equipment- Generate month end reports on fixed assets, virtual servers and desktop pricing for recharge to business Management of the UK Desktop estate including Budget, ordering of desktop PCs, screens and laptops to fulfil user requests and monthly recharges Provide monthly statistics on Desktop expenditure and cost recovery As system administrator of Asset Point, maintain the database of UK users, cost centres, locations, etc- and perform regular housekeeping, liaise with vendors on support issues/system enhancements Provide reports as required to business/Finance Ensure all operational and analytical tasks are processed in a timely, efficient and professional manner as per the documented processes to maximise service delivery- Work closely and effectively with interfacing teams to maximise service delivery and create a working environment which supports high performance- The Individual · Achieving Excellence Level 2 · Influencing Level 2 · Inspiring Level 2 · Communicating Level 2 · Building Understanding and Trust Level 2 · Developing People Level 1 · Collaborating for Success Level 2 · Gathering Information Level 2 · Understanding Issues Level 3 · Finding Solutions Level 2 Additional Website Text Follow Finance policy for Asset capitalisation and depreciation-
