The role is for a hands-on team leader for the Client Intelligence department within GBM Client and Sales Technology- Client Intelligence provides real-time and historic actionable information to sales, Electronic Markets and trading on client activity and behaviour- The applications use a variety of technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, -NET, Java) with reporting currently delivered through Cognos and Qlikview- Closing Date: 5 th March 2010
Job Description
The Horizon and MIS applications load real-time eCommerce and trade sources from a number of sources, including TIBCO RV, internal XML message queues and database queries- The information is loaded into SQL Server and Oracle data warehouses where the information is used for reporting- The applications cover FX, Money Markets, Credit and Rates products with the aim of providing real-time signals to sales and trading of client activity and to look for patterns in activity using Complex Event Processing in conjunction with the market activity from tick databases-
Requirements
· Front Office Development experience in relevant product area · Data modelling/Database design/Data warehousing · Business Intelligence tools Additional Useful Skills: · Fixed Income Business Knowledge (Bonds, Swaps, Credit products) · ECN experience such as FX All, Currenex, eSpeed, MTS, TradeWeb, Bloomberg · FX business knowledge · Experience working on large scale, high volume projects
Responsibilities
The role is for a team leader to take responsibility for the delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting and data mining to the business- They will set the strategy for choice or reporting tools, data architecture and delivery mechanism- They will have small team of developers located in London, Singapore and Stamford- They should have experience of working closely with the front office to deliver reporting solutions, strong database skills (e-g- SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle), excellent data analysis skills and hands on working knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Business Objects and Qlikview-
