Job Description The Project Manager will work as part of the Research & Strategy Technology team to deliver the technology investment programme for research production and distribution business globally- Reporting into the Head of Research Production & Distribution, the PM will manage several projects from initiation through to deployment and handover to support- Requirements · As the project manager you will work with a team of developers and business analysts in London, US and India to deliver the technology programmes for the Research & Strategy business- · Within the Research Technology team, you play a key role in the development of the technology strategy as well as the implementation of that strategy- · You are responsible for the delivery of projects, on time and on budget- · You have to build up a good relationship with the various senior business heads · Provide regular progress updates to the programme manager and the business heads · Manage the test, deployment and ongoing support process for the application you are responsible for · The development team are in several locations globally, while Test team and Support is focused in India- Additional Useful Skills: The candidate will have: · Min 3 yrs project management experience · Experience in working on / management of global projects · A technical or business analysis background · Proven track-record in delivering significant change within a global organisation Responsibilities Key responsibilities are to ensure all deliverables are effectively managed and meet the business objectives- The objectives are determined in terms of time scales, functionality, quality and budget- The role requires close collaboration with the business sponsors, the Global Head of Research & Strategy and the Global Head of Research Production- The Individual · Good personal skills as the role requires the person to build strong relationship with many colleagues at different levels- · Above average analysis skills are required to contribute to the problem solving process with the technical team · Proactive / takes initiative · Can motivate others · Culturally aware, as the PM will work with teams in many regions-
