Job Description
GBM Americas- Treasury ALCO Vice President The Treasury area for GBM is critical in management and oversight of the ALCO process as well as strategy and planning of key initiatives including liquidity analysis, capital planning and balance sheet management-
Requirements
- 6-8+ years experience as VP in Financial Services industry preferably with a broker dealer and/or commercial bank-
- Experience in a Treasury/Finance role, with strong technical knowledge of liquidity, balance sheet management and capital planning-
- Self starter, with high level of assertiveness and confidence-
- High degree of accuracy with analysis and presentation work
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment with multiple priorities-
- Excellent written and oral communications skills-
- Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, flowcharting, and graphing a plus-
Responsibilities
- Ownership of monthly ALCO process, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance for all relevant legal entitles- Main areas of focus include:
- Liquidity and Funding
- Balance Sheet and Capital Management
- Market Risk Management
- Support liquidity management initiatives, including stress testing, limit setting, and contingent funding plans-
- Oversee governance around Balance Sheet targets and limits; collaborate with businesses on balance sheet usage for purpose of developing optimization strategy and discipline-
- Lead GBA Americas initiatives in capital planning, including production of capital plans by legal entity, RWA budgeting, and collaboration with Group Treasury on local capital requirements-
- Coordinate all Treasury Policies and Procedures, maintaining documentation for all legal entities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements-
- Support Treasury in assessing and implementing various Treasury related regulatory requirements across all dimensions (liquidity, capital, etc)
- Develop working relationships with counterparts in Group Treasury, London and internal Finance group-
