Coutts Asia is a dynamic and progressive private bank, bringing together three centuries of international private banking heritage and 130 years of Swiss banking expertise- Our ability to give world-class service and insight is a direct result of the quality of people who make up our Asia teams- A career at Coutts rewards and stimulates exceptional individuals to become the very best they can be- We partner exceptional people; we need exceptional people- Purpose of the Job · To lead and manage the Trade Support Team on providing efficient regional supports and services to Private Banking business- · To collect business requirements, formulate and review the service delivery strategies, policies and procedures- · To take lead or actively participates in projects developing new market, business and product - · To implement and maintain effective internal control system in the operating process to minimize the risk exposure of the business- · Champion the streamlining or re-engineering of operational workflow process and the continuous improvement of the operational platform for trade support in Asia - · To maintain an effective working relationship and communication channel with major stakeholders and customers to ensure smooth operation- · As a subject expert in the area and provide expertise advice to all parties- · Keep abreast of new changes, new products and practices in various markets and to excel the function by introducing best market practices- · Be the coach and provide training and guidance to the team members- · To deputize the Head of Business Operations- Principal Accountabilities · Lead and manage the Trade Support team on the day to day processes and resolve any issues relating to investment product- · Communicate with Private Bankers, Zurich Operations and relevant third parties to execute the customer request up to their satisfaction- · Updating of policies and procedural manuals regularly to meet the business requirements- · Provide training to Private Bankers and related parties on the new/changes in process flow that impact on the client service delivery · Enhance the service quality of the team to achieve functional excellence- · Monitor and review on the effectiveness of the control system and alert management on any irregularity noted- Requirements - At least 10 years of managerial experience leading the middle or back office team in securities trading and settlement including structured notes, derivatives products, bonds, equities, funds and corporate actions
