Responsibilities
The Strategic Partnerships Manager will be instrumental in helping us meet our business priorities, driving more business on to our award winning platform and other propositions. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships you will have responsibility to identify new potential strategic accounts and actively support the pursuit and due diligence process. Key responsibilities will be: - Identifying and maintaining an active pipeline of partnership opportunities
Ensure clear pursuit plans in place to maximise our chance of success - Delivery of high quality, professional and timely tender submissions and customer presentations
- Act as central proposal manager for tenders ensuring responses / proposals are to delivered to time, quality and budget standards
- Consider and make recommendations for process improvements to maximise efficiency
- Ensure each tailored proposition is fully costed to maximise revenue
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: - Experience working in the financial services sector, preferably Life & Pensions and ideally wrap/investments background
- Exception written and verbal communication skills
- Gravitas and the ability to confidently present and convince Senior Management Teams
- The ability to take an analytical and strategic approach to decision making
- Strong project and process management skills
- Self-starting and pro-active
- A hands on approach and a keen eye for detail
- A track record of success in a deadline driven environment
- Experience or knowledge of proposal management and/or business development methodology

Additional Information
The role will be based predominately in Bristol within the Strategic Partnerships team, in AXA Wealth Management. However, the job holder will be required to travel to Basingstoke, London and client offices on occasion. The role holder will need to be credible in front of clients and therefore a professional approach is essential.
