Job Description An opportunity to apply for either of the two Senior Reporting Analyst roles in Manufacturing Financial Control- One role is based in Technology Services where the focus is on the Group's technology related costs and the other role is in Asset Management, where the emphasis is on the Group's property costs- Both roles are about successfully delivering financial control and reporting requirements on behalf of Manufacturing Finance and will provide widespread exposure to the budgeting and reporting requirements of the Manufacturing business- Requirements - Ability to deliver collaborative working relationships with key customers and the team

- Record of meeting tight deadlines and delivering high quality output
- Practical experience of working in a financial environment
- Part qualified either through formal education or experience
Technical Knowledge: - Knowledge of Business Objects Planning, Walker, Business Objects or TecMis an advantage
Responsibilities Technology Services: - Supporting month end close; posting journals, reconciling actuals to supporting MI files, investigating and documenting explanations for variances to forecast
- Delivery of monthly reporting packs for Non Infrastructure Services
- Supporting Budgeting and Forecasting process; preparing templates for population, uploading forecast to financial reporting system, delivery of forecast reporting packs
- Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and commentary
- Reviewing and liaising with Decision Support Managers to resolve issues arising from the financials
- Active involvement in continuous improvement activities
- Assist in the manage of change controls into and out of Technology Services
- Undertaking other duties as required, and working as part of a team to ensure all team deliverables are met
- Deputising for line manager as required
Asset Management: - Produce monthly and forecast reporting on Group Property, Asset Management costs and conduct a first level review of outputs
- Ensure provision of quality monthly MI reports to tight deadlines
- Substantiate the Group Property balance sheet and provide MI to Decision Support on a monthly basis
- Control the Group Property Intercompany balances and ensure that agreement with counterparties is reached on a monthly basis
- Produce the monthly accounts and annual statutory accounts for two Property subsidiaries
- Be involved in any change controls of budget into and out of Group Property
- Conduct adhoc analysis and development projects on behalf of Group Property
- Build and maintain key relationships with customers e- g- Decision Support, Property Business Areas, Group Tax
- Undertake other duties as required, and work as part of the wider team to ensure that all SSF Group Property and SSF Manufacturing deliverables are met
