Background
Come and join AXAPPP Healthcare , the UK's 15th best company to work for as voted by its own employees. We are looking for experienced Nurses to join our ever growing medical department based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. You will be utilising your nursing experience in an office environment, talking to our members over the telephone and helping them through their cancer Private Medical Insurance claims.
The role
Your role will include: - Management of complex cancer cases working with the patient and their clinicians to get the best package of care available.
- Liaising directly with patients to understand exactly what help and support will be beneficial and valued by them.
- Discussing the range of options available to the patient to receive their treatment.
- Negotiating with providers to obtain the treatment which is most appropriate for the patient.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
- Current RGN/RMN nursing registration with NCM essential
- Clinical Nursing and case management experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Good IT skills
