Background To lead on platform design including the development of platform features and functionality, ensuring detailed business requirements meet design principles and optimise platform solutions and delivery capacity.
The role
Ensure agreed platform design principles are applied to solutions delivered and ongoing developments are consistent with Platform Architecture and Business strategy and adhere to TCF principles
Manage design risks and issues to ensure that AXA does not expose itself to unnecessary risk or reputational damage. Develop and recommend platform developments within ADS and other channels through application of required technical knowledge to ensure proposal are in line with strategic business plans and adhere to FSA regulations, legislation and best practice Identify and develop with other AXA Business Units (propositional / operational) core components of the platform to maximise reuse capability ensuring solutions align with customer needs and requirements .
Develop and recommend, through understanding of underlying customer requirements, shaping of prioritisation scope and solution hypotheses ensuring alignment with strategy and design principles
Maintain and develop standard approaches and tools that support the team in efficient and effective analysis and design work for platform solutions. Develop business analysis capability across the Platform design team through mentoring and coaching
Educate and promote platform capability across AXA Life SBUs, to ensure the development of platform knowledge and capability within other business units.
Anticipate, develop and resolve complex and cross-functional business and design issues through a proactive and professional consultancy service to the business resulting in solutions to change and requirements.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Creative Problem Solver Professional qualifications or equivalent e.g. ISEB(BA) or AXA Way High level of understanding in industry practice, market place, distribution requirements and legislative environment Good experience as Business Analyst / Consultant High Level of negotiating / influencing skills to Axa Life Senior Exec level. High level of Technical knowledge in the Wrap marketing environment at a senior level High level of organisational skills with emphasis on detail Proven track record in successfully shaping and defining strategic solutio
