Job Description The role holder will support the production of the Information Security Policy, standards and guidance, working along side the Policy, Regulation & Standards Specialist and Senior Policy, Regulations & Standards Manager - They will be responsible for producing initial draft Policy documentation for review by the Policy, Regulation & Standards Specialists- Requirements Skills - Working with a broad range of business units across the RBS Group or other Global organisations
- Broad appreciation of Information Security Policy
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to write technical issues in business terms
- Knowledge of Security Zone system desirable
- Experience of a Security and Risk function
- Good understanding of working in Information Security and within a technology service provider within the Financial Services industry
- Working towards relevant Information Security or technical qualifications
- Good IT knowledge and experience
Responsibilities - Writing and on-going support of Information Security policy, standards and guidelines ensuring these remain fit for purpose at all times
- Implement required changes to the Policy manager tools to update Information Security Policy and liaise with co-ordination team to update any Policy changes on RBS Group Intranet pages
- Build good relationships with key stakeholders across the Group and geographical boundaries
- Work with Policy, Regulation & Standards Specialists to deliver Policy that complies with regional regulatory requirements
- Assist with drafting of senior or Executive briefings as required by the Senior Information Security Policy & Oversight Manager
