This is a North West regional role. Ideally you will be be based at our Commmercial Partner Centre, operating out of Bolton.You could be based at our central Manchester office if this works better both for you and for AXA. You will be an experienced Trading/Technical Motor Fleet Senior Underwriter operating within the North West Regional Fleet in a dynamic and vibrant environment. The team controls over £20m GWP. Working with fellow Senior Underwriters you will play a key part in renewal retention and in driving new business conversion across the region. The role The main purpose of this job is to; - Underwrite commercial risks from a designated panel of intermediaries within agreed authority levels, to achieve profitable growth in line with Company and branch objectives.
- Provide a reference point and training for technical underwriting and product knowledge within the branch.
Key Accountabilities are to; - Underwrite new and existing business profitability, accurately and in line with established Underwriting practice.
- Maintain and develop business relationships with intermediaries.
- Actively encourage generation of profitable new business.
- Respond to customers requests for information.
- Complete the Managing Underwriting procedure for a panel of Underwriters within the Branch.
