This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who really can make a difference to the customer. You will be working on customer communications, taking technical information and turning it into something the customer will understand, using your copywriting skills to really shape the way the customer thinks about the business. The role - Develop and manage the full suite of mandatory product and customer marketing material required to support the AXA Wealth proposition (e.g. application forms, KFDs and customer letters)
- Develop and manage product related literature, mailings and online content to help drive sales and enhance the AXA Wealth proposition. This includes the development of effective communications briefs and strong marketing collateral that is targeted, positioned, and scheduled correctly
- Build relationships with key stakeholders (Proposition, Sales, Customer Services, Legal, Financial Promotions Compliance, Business Risk)
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes, market trends and competitor activity through continual development to ensure communications are targeted, effective and compliant
- Understand business/market strategy, including analysis of key and emerging competitors, to guide the delivery of communications activity to support business objectives
- Develop a clear understanding of the customer communications journey and the key processes that underpin this. Manage mandatory customer communications to clients and advisers and ensure alignment with other marketing activities
- Ensure that communications deliverables adhere to the Communications Development (Veritas) processes and compliance guidelines, taking into account Treating Customers Fairly principles
- Manage stock control and printing budget
- Manage a team of Marketing Executives ensuring that they deliver their objectives and improve their capability
Skills, knowledge and behaviour - Significant marketing experience ideally gained within a Financial Services Industry
- Strong track record of managing internal and external business relationships
- Experience of developing a range of communications through a literature sign off process
- Ability to work under pressure to manage and deliver projects within set timescales
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Effecitve influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to plan, manage and prioritise workloads
- Experience of working with external suppliers (communications agencies, print buyers)
- Leadership skills and the ability to successful develop an effective team
- Experience of budget management
