Job Description RBS employs 140,000 people globally and Group Reward provides support and expertise to the business through its team of Reward specialists, based in the UK, Europe, Asia and the Americas- Reward is not just about dealing with base salaries; it's about finding the right reward programmes to support the strategic direction of the business and its unique culture- It's about balancing what is affordable and what makes us competitive in the market- It's about attracting, engaging and retaining the best people- In order to do all that we have a number of different specialisms in the Group Reward team which focus on salary, bonus, benefits, incentive schemes, recognition schemes, pensions, international relocation, global reward governance and regulatory compliance- We now have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Compensation team in London, t o support the changing demands and expectations of the business across a range of reward activities- The work this team is involved with includes: compensation design including deferral plans and long-term incentive plan design; the governance and assurance of reward policies including driving the RemCo agenda and writing RemCo papers; market research & insight including analytics and driving and co-ordinating the regulatory response of the Group to all relevant international reward regulation - So if you are an analytical person with some Reward experience , looking for an opportunity to get involved in a fast paced, interesting and high profile aspect of HR work, please get in touch- Job Purpose To support the development, implementation, analysis, administration and communication of reward programs, policies and processes on a global basis- Responsibilities · Support in writing of Remuneration Committee papers including gathering and analysis of data and quality control of papers - Gather, validate, analyse and organise information (both qualitative and quantitative) relating to Group Compensation, as directed
- Conduct detailed market analysis as required, identify trends and model potential outcomes
- Select and use appropriate data management/manipulation methodologies to produce the most accurate and timely results- Provide initial insights and commentary on the data being analysed
- Ensure Reward administration is carried out in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
· Support reviewing international remuneration regulations and guidelines including drafting of responses and briefing notes · Develop Reward design solutions and lead smaller or less complex projects under readily available direction- · Support innovation and implementation of changes in Reward policies · Contribute effectively within broader Reward team, adopting and sharing best practice and innovation- KPIs - Reliable high quality analysis work

The Individual - Degree qualified
- Highly numerate and analytical
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Able to manipulate large volumes of data
- Good diagnostic skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel,Powerpoint and Access-
- Competent user of Business Objects
- An interest in reward and remuneration practice is essential and ideally some experience of working in a Reward environment
- A self starter who is able to quickly assimilate information and rapidly become self sufficient
