Job Description Group Resourcing support all aspects of the recruitment process at RBS and this role will be key in managing the resourcing team in London , Zurich and Geneva as well as input in to Resourcing activities in Singapore and Hong Kong - You will successfully deliver high quality candidates reducing time to hire and cost per hire and must own and manage the relationships with senior business and HR stakeholders to build in depth knowledge of functional areas and talent watch- Identifying any issues or trends in the internal or external marketplace will be key within this role as this enable you to shape and inform the design, development and implementation of Wealth Management and Group Resourcing products and services- Responsibilities Service Fulfilment: - Manage the end to end recruitment cycle, providing a second to none candidate and client experience
- Own the Demand Planning for the Division and ensure all recruitment activity is cohesive and provides a cost effective joined up service to the business
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on all Project involvement / sponsorship
- Analysis and ownership of benefits management for Wealth Management
- Ensure appropriate controls and governance are in place
- Deliver against set Cost, Time & Quality metrics
- Proactively manage external supplier relationships Maintain and utilise knowledge of external recruitment market
- Take action to maintain a pool / pipeline of prospective hires
Business Relationship: - Relationship manage Wealth Management area, shaping and distilling a cross divisional overview-
- Act as part of the Wealth Management HR Leadership Team and have ultimate responsibility for the business relationships with regard to recruitment strategy, resourcing demand and attraction issues
- Be the escalation point for complaints, queries and concerns from business and/or senior managers
- Engage with business contacts to present current resourcing status and/or gain buy-in to recommendations/business case and manage expectations around resourcing requirements
- Proactively develop business opportunities aligned with work area that help build RBS's profile in the external recruitment market
Managing a Team: - Lead, motivate, manage and develop a broad team in all aspects of resourcing support and delivery to meet the needs of the designated business area / role type Set objectives, coach and support team, acting as role model, including undertaking recruitment for own team and performance management
- Drive continuous improvement Take on, or support, additional ad hoc projects in resourcing as and when required
Deliverables - A successful and effective resourcing team, delivering to the business needs
- End to end service fulfilment for the designated business / role type area of responsibility
- Delivery against scorecard metrics and standards (e-g- cost/time/quality)
- Effective business relationships and expectation management
- Excellent and up to date resourcing market knowledge and information to ensure best fit of innovative solutions and activities
Scope of Role: - Working with Resourcing Managers and Consultants, HR Business partners, Business stakeholders and Line Managers to provide optimum resourcing solutions for Wealth Management roles-
- Work closely with and support other Divisions and areas of Group Resourcing to develop and share best practice-
- Project delivery as required
The Individual Experience: - Stakeholder / relationship management, evidencing strong interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of team leadership, of both direct and indirect resources
- Analysis and utilisation of recruitment MI to make changes and drive improvements
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Experience of managing an end-to-end recruitment process
- Experience of working with sophisticated candidate management systems
- Experience of recruitment market in Wealth Management
- Experience of advertising media, agencies, ad creative Managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers
People Management: - Direct Line Management responsibility for team supporting them to deliver and achieve personal and team objectives
- Team player as part of the Front Office Resourcing Leadership team Coaching and development of team (direct and indirect line control)
Financial Management: - Responsibility for managing recruitment budgets-
