Our Procurement function takes the lead in global and local sourcing and the management of vendors. The role Lead the Middle Europe Service Delivery Procurement Function at a regional level, taking responsibility for local sourcing, management of vendors and agreements and the internal customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Management of the end to end Regional and local purchasing process · Assist with and implement the Regional Sourcing Strategy · Monitor compliance with the Regional procurement strategy and processes · Improve sourcing ratios in favour of globally negotiated contracts and price cards · Procurement Technical lead for projects for the region · Ensure that new supplier selection/existing supplier reviews are undertaken according to Procurement best practice and the suppliers meet the given requirements at the lowest possible total cost · Negotiate contracts to ensure best value for AXA Tech and AXA Tech's clients is achieved · Manage a team of procurement specialists to deliver above · Strategic Vendor Management and development of Vendor relationships to improve alignment with AXA Tech Strategy and Services offered, including adherence to AXA Tech and Clients' governance requirements Skills, knowledge and behaviour · Significant Procurement/Supplier Management experience · Substantial team leadership and people management experience · Proficient in English (and local language) · Experience of working in a complex global environment · High levels of integrity and procurement/business ethics · Communication often in difficult circumstances
