The role
Due to significant growth within our business we are recruiting Psychological Needs Practitioners (Telephone Counsellors) to be based in our Merchant City office. Our Psychological Needs Pracititioners (PNP) provide high quality, professional telephone screening of all incoming calls or requests for services through multi-media sources, perform an initial Needs Assessment and provide Telephone Counselling Services escalating cases to Psychologists as appropriate or clinically directed. You will also fulfil a Clinical Case Review service on a daily basis and in conjunction with agreed business servcice levels.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
To be considered for these roles you must have a min of a Post Grad Diploma in counselling recognised by the BACP, 300 hours post qualification in face to face counselling, Independent Supervisory arrangement in place and previous experience of conducting Telephone Counselling. Accreditation gained or evidence of working towards accreditation is desirable. We operate a 24/7 support service although in the office we operate from 8am - 11.15pm and we have a variety of shifts available during these times (min 22.5 hrs p/w - 3 days).
