Job Description Finance Change is responsible for providing expert project management support for designated initiatives specifically in relation to the Finance Operating Model and Finance systems changes and improvements- The role holder will provide project management expertise and lead key project work streams- They will have day to day responsibility for a team of business analysts- Key tasks will include managing the process to drive out business requirements, identifying system and process changes based on these requirements, developing solutions and plans with Technology Services to meet requirements, monitoring Technology Services build work, defining and managing user acceptance testing and regression testing on downstream reporting applications, managing the project implementation including transition to new systems and processes- Requirements Essential Experience: (Must have skills) - Knowledge and experience of structured project management methodologies
- Well-rounded knowledge of financial services products and terminology
- Well rounded knowledge of a Finance function operating model within an financial services company
- Good understanding of data warehousing, systems architecture, data flows, data models and data interface design would be a benefit
- Knowledge of FSA requirements, particularly from a reporting perspective

- Project management and leadership of a team of business analysts
Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills) - Accountancy background with Graduate or Accountancy Qualification
Responsibilities · Responsible for maintaining a clear definition of project scope and deliverables · Identifies systems and process changes, develops solutions, monitors build and manages testing- · Lead the development of project plans to include tasks, milestones, dependencies, resources and assumptions on behalf of the stakeholder community · Manage Project Management Governance Frameworks and compliance, including scope controls, tracking actions for decision making and regular reporting cycles · Project milestones and deliverables achieved within the overall Project/Programme plan with specific work streams managed to time, cost and specification · Ensures anticipated programme benefits are generated and recovered · Stakeholders across Corporate Banking, Group Finance, and central functions successfully managed · Critical dependencies on other areas managed to ensure project deliverables are met · Ensures appropriate resources are aligned to the programme, and line management of the resource- · Required project governance processes met The Individual · Ability to work effectively in a project management role in a matrix management arrangement · Ability to understand the budgetary impacts of work within the work stream and the broader Programme
