Job Description With the help of an assistant, you will develop a portfolio of high net worth clients that will continue to grow over the years- Your role is to assist those clients in growing, diversifying and protecting their acquired wealth whilst also helping them and their families to plan for every stage of their lives- Everything, in fact, from starting a new career (and perhaps a new family) to helping them build and preserve their wealth, right the way through to retirement planning, philanthropy and taxation advice- Ultimately, you will help ensure their assets pass to the next generation as tax efficiently as possible- You will also be able to discuss how Coutts might help with finance and leveraging at any stage, thus adding to the wealth generation opportunities available to them as clients- Since each client is different - and since your role will touch on every aspect of their wealth - the portfolio of products and services you can provide is incredibly diverse- From direct access to Private Equity Partnerships through to market leading hedge funds and discretionary and tailored advisory portfolios, the product mix is intricate and complex- So your clients can benefit from investment opportunities that simply are not available elsewhere- The team ethos is strong at Coutts, with everyone willing to help and to share their knowledge and experience- You must be willing to support your colleagues in meeting individual and team objectives - and whilst there are targets to be met, the real focus is on becoming a trusted advisor to each client- Requirements - Successful track record of revenue generation, selling & closing deals, as well as developing client relationships
- Broad knowledge of tax, banking, investment or financial planning is essential
- Hold a recognised FSA benchmark qualification - SII Certificate in Securities and Financial Derivatives-Retail Clients (or equivalent)
