Job Description
Job Purpose

We are the second largest company in the Life and Health insurance (stock) market and the sixth largest company in Europe (Fortune Global 500 2007).   We are also recognised as one of the top 20 best big companies to work for in the UK by The Sunday Times.   The role of the Portfolio Support Administrator is to take ownership, responsibility and accountability for a work allocated by the Scheme Co-ordinators ensuring effective processing, to provide an excellent customer service.


    Key Accountabilities
    • Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure that the service proposition is achieved and customer relations are continually enhanced.
    • Take responsibility for the work allocated by the scheme co-ordinators to deliver service level agreements at the required quality
    • Proactively learn and become accredited in all the relevant procedures and ensure that they are followed at all times, to ensure the customer receives a quality service.
    • Maintain and develop good product knowledge to enable effective resolution of customer queries. · Maintain and develop a good knowledge of the Embassy system, to ensure efficient administration of schemes.
    • Ensure any complaints are identified and passed quickly to an accredited complaints handler, to ensure a speedy and efficient resolution of customer complaints
    • Contribute to projects as required


      Skills and Experience
      • Good communication skills - written, & verbal
      • Good knowledge of the Embassy system
      • Ability to develop Relationship building skills
      • Delivery focused
      • Ability to work to tight deadlines
      • Good interpersonal skills
      • Relevant product knowledge
      • Working towards CF1 and FA2
      • Grade C or above in Maths and Engligh GCSE (or equivalent)
