The Group Portfolio Management team is at the heart of capturing the detail that drives the creation of the Group Change Portfolio and as such is core to the understanding, recording, interpretation and development of the Group's change agenda- With a global remit covering all Divisions, Portfolio Management is uniquely positioned to report, at Executive level, the composition and performance of the Group's Change Portfolio-

 

This role assists in that remit by:

·          Owning and managing a Divisional section of the Group Change Portfolio-

·          Analysing the Divisions' Change Portfolio to ensure strong aggregation into the Group Change Portfolio-

·          Interpretation and Reporting of the Divisional Change Portfolios

·          Communicating and ensuring Divisional understanding of the implications of their change portfolios and the fit with the Group Change Portfolio-


    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will:

    ·          Support the development, syndication and sign-off of the Group Change Portfolio via the Quarterly Portfolio Refresh and other Portfolio processes through extensive liaison and contact across the Group at multiple levels

    • Display sound knowledge of Divisional investment priorities across all key categories - financials, scope, dependencies and maturity - in order to facilitate Divisional discussions on links to strategic objectives, readiness/do-ability, priorities and opportunities to optimise the Portfolio

    ·          Help shape, influence and challenge candidate Programmes

    • Ensure accurate Initiative/Programme approvals and actuals are captured in the Portfolio
    • Support the production of reports and presentations to various Executive level forums e-g- Divisional Investment Boards, Business Partners etc-

    ·          Support the completion of governance for business cases appropriate to the Division

    ·          Interpret priorities of the Group often working through a high degree of ambiguity and complexity to meet the challenges of diverse and sometimes competing agendas both within the divisions and across the Group

    ·          Collaborate with relevant Group functions (e-g- Group Projects), Business Service Delivery Functions, Architecture and Risk to ensure the Group Change Portfolio achieves strategic and financial objectives


      The Individual

      The successful candidate will display:

      ·          A good knowledge of Business operations and processes across Divisions and at Group level

      ·          Previous experience of managing large volumes of complex and incomplete data

      ·          Previous experience of obtaining and maintaining stakeholder buy-in

      ·          Experience of a range of Business / Change Management / Financial / Strategy areas is desirable
