Background This position requires a fully experienced PA to provide all round support to the Director of Protection Marketing. This is a permanent position based in Marlborough House, Bristol City Centre. The role Decision Making : - Identify and prioritise business and market related issues and pass to appropriate people
- Create and manage efficient reporting channels to elicit information and monitor progress of addressing Marketing and business unit issues
- Adopt communication styles (written/verbal balance) to suit audience and results to be delivered
Administrative Management - Complex diary management
- Manage email correspondence on behalf of the Director in a timely manner, prioritising and cascading/escalating as appropriate without supervision.
- Organise business travel and event management for the Director
- Manage invoices and expenses
- Prepare complex correspondence for approval
- Manage the actions of the Director
- Manage the actions which the Director assigns to Direct Reports ensuring deadlines are met
- Attend management meetings; creating agenda, taking minutes and ensuring actions are completed e.g. Market Planning Meeting (a monthly cross functional meeting) and elements of the Protection Leadership Team meeting (agenda, actions, papers/reports and logistics).
- Deputises for the PA to Managing Director of Protection, to cover holidays, sickness
Relationship Management - Build effective relationships with members of the Protection Leadership Team and their reports and PAs throughout the AXA Group and third parties
- Maintain strong working relationships with Protection Marketing staff
Skills, knowledge and behaviour - High standard of general education
- Previous Senior PA experience essential
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Expert knowledge of admin software eg. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook
- Well developed prioritisation and organisation skills
- Excellent knowledge of the AXA UK organisation and the Protection Business Unit
- High levels of confidentiality
- Excellent attention to detail and influencing skills
- Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced commercial environment
Measures - Written and verbal communications are clear, incisive and delivered in detail relevant to the audience.

What will you get from this role? - Salary of between £18,500 - £24,000 per annum
