Based in our offices in either Bristol or Basingstoke ; we currently have an exciting opportunity for 2 experienced Performance Testers to work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects.
The role
Reporting into our Technical Test Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of all the Non Functional testing across our Wealth business. This is a key role for us as we drive our Technical and non-functional test strategies forward. In this role you will be expected to set up environments, ascertain all the non-functional requirements, agree the test approach, execute all the non-functional tests, analyse results, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions. You and your team will be instrumental in setting up the appropriate tools and environments to ensure the successful completion of performance testing as part of our development lifecycle.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate: - Extensive Test experience with a sound knowledge of performance test tools - eg LoadRunner / Microsoft Visual Studio .
- Extensive hands on expeirence in the planning, design and execution of non-functional tests.
- Excellent logical problem solving and anlytical skills
- Good working knowledge of agile or waterfall methodologies (preferably both)
- ISEB certification.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- A high level of methodical thinking and attention to detail.
- A positive work ethos with a high level of flexibility.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
