Job Description
  The Employee/People services team is responsible for delivering the first class service to its customers internally and externally- As part of this you will have a fundamental role in ensuring support of the payroll function in dealing with payroll queries, payroll processing, checking and reporting- To help this we will have requirements for Payroll Consultants-   The purpose of the role is to undertake and deliver a variety of payroll operations and activities to a high quality using standard and established processes and tools resulting in excellent service and high customer satisfaction- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external customers and align expectations with them accordingly- Resolution of queries and guidance will be part of the role


    Requirements
    Skills and Experience Required  

    ·           Knowledge of NI, taxes and employment legislation

    ·           PC skills MS WORD, Excel and payroll systems

    ·           Knowledge of end to end processing especially in Payroll

    ·           Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

    ·           Adheres to guidelines and procedures

    ·           Contribute to continuous improvement

    ·           Highly developed process knowledge and technical skills

    ·           Ability to gain In depth knowledge of services we provide

    ·           Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    ·           Experience in working in a changing environment and ability to work under pressure

    ·           Ability to solve a range of problems/queries without reference


      Responsibilities

       

      ·           Constantly meet and exceed service expectations of our customers

      ·           Maintain up to date knowledge in terms of process and local statutory requirements

      ·           Result oriented with high level of accuracy in own work

      ·           Performance against work timings

      ·           Provide input and ideas to promote improvement to processes and the general activities of the centre

      ·           Complete a range of processing work to the highest standard, ensuring service level agreements are met constantly and exceeded

      ·           Support business requirements gathering for the deployment of new tools and system including performing testing activities as appropriate

      ·           Participate in project work
