| Job Description |
Background To provide administrative support & some elements of decision making support within Design and Delivery and ensure the smooth running of the Head of D&D office on a day to day basis. Provide analysis, advice and direction on all business activities to the Head of D&D and members of the Management Leadership team (MTM), for AXA Distribution Services. Liaise with key stakeholders on behalf of ED as directed. The role - Escalate/delegate functional business issues within the functional chain with clear instructions & deadlines.

- Appropriate & timely identification of critical functional business issues
- Establishes efficient reporting channels to monitor progress of functional issues.
- Manages correspondence on behalf of manager(s) e.g. Emails, post, telephone in a timely manner, prioritising & cascading/escalating as appropriate within own function & without supervision.
- Organise business travel & event management for manager(s) e.g. conferences, Roadshows & Third Party hostings.
- Manages general expenses with regard to travel, event management & office sundries.
- Transcription & production of written correspondence as directed. Preparation of complex correspondence for approval.
- Document management e.g. Filing both electronically & hard copy as appropriate.
- Attends management meetings, manages Agenda, Minutes & Actions.
- Builds effective partnership relationships with Functional management teams, customers, third parties.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour - High standard of general education to GCSE Level C or above
- Considerable experience in similar roles or experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written, maximises networking skills
- Expert knowledge of admin software e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook & other appropriate in-house systems
- Well developed prioritisation & organisation skills
- Excellent knowledge of the AXA UK organisation and appropriate Functions
- High levels of confidentiality
- Good influencing skills
- Flexibility, adaptability & able to multi-task in a fast-paced commercial environment
