Job Description
  

To develop, own and deliver the Organisation Effectiveness (OE) proposition for the GBM Markets business, this will involve interpreting business needs and delivering globally, in partnership with the Heads of the OE function, on all activity in GBM Markets that relates to leadership, management development, graduate development/internships, assessment, talent management, performance management and learning-

To take a pivotal role partnering with the GBM Markets Management Administrative Committee and the senior BP population to establish the strategy required to maximise the Organisational Effectiveness and develop the supporting People strategy for the GBM business-

To sit as a member of the GBM Organisational Effectiveness Management Team and relevant business forums, such as Talent & Development Steering Committees to drive and deliver the Organisational Effectiveness agenda to support the Business Strategy-  


    Requirements
     

    Deliverables: 

    Provide thought leadership and leading edge technical expertise on all matters of Organisational Effectiveness to ensure that GBM Market's and the Group's Organisational Effectiveness delivers maximum commercial business success that can be quantified and measured-

    This will include:

    1, Providing technical input/thought leadership to the development and deployment of Markets specific OE products-

    2, To work closely with the Heads of the OE Function and Group OE to shape and inform initiatives which will impact GBM and then d riving deployment of Group OE products into the GBM Markets business-

    3, Owning, delivering and measuring the impact of the GBM OE strategy on Markets business performance -

    4, Rebuild the bench strength of GBM through benchmarking and then improving the quality and depth profiles of leadership, management, talent and succession-

    5- Drive the joining up of all people data across the OE product range (through Business Information Services) to enable analysis and a base line to be established for the current Organisational Effectiveness of GBM Markets and from which a targeted and measurable insights based 1-3-5 year strategy is developed and targeted deliverables delivered


      Responsibilities
       

      Matrix Management (Programmes and Projects)

      ·           To manage the interface between the Markets HR Team, the Markets Business, the Heads of OE, Learning & Development, Talent & Leadership, Graduate Resourcing, Group & the Programme Manager of the People Programme to ensure a joined up approach in delivering organisational effectiveness to support the business strategy-  

      ·            Manage delivery of Markets specific organisational effectiveness initiatives as well as supporting the delivery of the learning & development, talent management and leadership agenda-

      ·           To act as a role model, providing leadership, guidance and inspiration to HR & Business colleagues-

      ·           To create and maintain internal and external networks and relationships, to support current and future activity-


        The Individual
         

        Experience/Skills Required:

         

        ·           Excellent relationship management, especially stakeholder management

        ·           Excellent analysis and contracting skills

        ·           Exceptional communication skills

        ·           Strong specialist learning & development experience, gained from a variety of global organisations

        ·           Change agent skills

        ·           Experience in Vision, Values and Culture Change preferred

        ·           Able to demonstrate strong Business and Commercial awareness

        ·           Global Experience of Change projects preferred

        ·           Existing GBM and Group networks preferred

        ·           Team/line management experience preferred-

          ·           Accountable to HR and business stakeholders including Head of OE, Markets, HR Business Partners, Business Head of Markets & Programme and Project sponsors-

          ·           Role requires individuals to work with a high degree of autonomy and significant levels of ambiguity-

          ·            Acts as account manager liaising between the Markets business, HR Markets team, Heads of OE, Learning & Development, Talent & Leadership, Core Curriculum Owners and Graduate Development Teams-

          Responsible for advising on budget management for Markets business- Ensure cost effective and efficient delivery of solutions-
