Background AXA ICAS, one of the world's leading providers of Wellbeing and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) has several exciting opportunities for Qualified Nurses to join our Occupational Health division. You will provide a proactive and evidence based occupational health service to the client, onsite at their office locations. This position will involve frequent travel between their sites across the Farnborough & Andover areas. However, there may also be occasional travel to sites between the Lake District and Dorset . The role Your role will include: - To undertake individual and work based health needs and risk assessments, so that plans of action can be identified.
- Where required undertake ill health case management, referring as necessary to an occupational physician and writing clinical reports as required.
- Support the team with the development of evidence based health and safety policies and occupational health policies ensuring adherence to relevant legislation.
- Manage own caseload, in liaison with the client, undertaking periodic reviews, formulating priorities based on health needs analyses and contract requirements.
- Where required undertake health surveillance/fitness for work assessments as identified in the contract.
- To ensure that data entered into client records are contemporaneous, accurate, legible, concise and coherent, in accordance with the NMC standards for record keeping.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour To be successful in this role you will need to be: - RGN (Registered General Nurse) with commercial experience
- Experienced within an Occupational Health working environment
- Health Surveillance & Case Management experience
- Good PC Skills
- Used to working independently and as part of a remote team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- A good people person
PLEASE NOTE: This role will require you travelling to client sites within close proximity of your home, driving licence is essential. What will you get from this role? The salary for this role is £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.
