| Job Description |
Background AXA is at the forefront of the private medical healthcare industry and are listed in the Top 20 Best Companies to work in the Sunday Times 2011. We are looking for a Windows Microsoft Technical Analyst to be based in AXA PPP healthcare's IT division in Tunbridge Wells to support our expanding International business and to up skill / coach other team members. The role The role will initially support enhancements to our International expansion and will continue to expand as the portfolio increases. You will also support the continued development within Health IT and coach other team members to deliver support/development for Microsoft Windows, a key part of our strategy to deliver the best service possible to our customers. You will be based in Tunbridge Wells to develop a close working relationship with the programme and the other technology teams. Skills, knowledge and behaviour - Technical skills - advanced technical skills which include: Working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems (specifically Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008), their underlying components and web related services: Web Servers (IIS), Directory Services (Active Directory), SQL Servers (MySQL, MS SQL, etc), Mail Servers (MailEnable, SmarterMail, etc), DNS Servers (MS DNS), Windows Filesystems (NTFS, FAT32, etc), IIS V6.0/V7.5
- Working knowledge of basic networking equipment and principles
- Working knowledge of XML
- Working knowledge of commodity computer hardware
- Computer knowledge - computer proficiency, which includes knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software; strong knowledge of electronic communication systems; able to navigate internet competently
- Adaptability - able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Problem solving skills - able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyse information skillfully; able to apply independent judgement on regular basis in making decisions
- Interpersonal skills - able to interact with co-workers and customers in a courteous, professional and effective manner and coach other team members effectively
