Job Description The MI Production team sits organisationally, within the CAO Infrastructure and Shared Services department of the wider Global Banking & Markets Finance function- GBM is essentially the global "investment banking" arm of the RBS Group with branches and trading activities located in numerous worldwide locations but principally the USA, Europe, Asia, India and Australia- The MI Production team comprises approximately 30 staff with a mix of local UK and overseas coverage through teams based in London, Singapore and India- The MI Production team is responsible for global Management Information reporting covering income, costs, headcount, balance sheet, budgeting and forecasting- The role will require the candidate to work closely with key customers within the Central Decision Support teams for GBM, GTS, UKCB and Non Core as well as Group Finance- Key responsibilities include: · Complete the periodic GBM, GTS, and UKCB budget and forecast processes from Business Unit submission to Group submissions- Role will also require post submission follow ups- · Responsibility for ensuring consistency across relevant divisional MI systems / reports and Group systems / reports · Actively seeking to deliver improvements in data, processes and output · Assisting in other MI reporting deliverables where necessary Essential Experience · Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA OR qualified by experience, with practical experience in a similar role · Sound numerical and analytical skills · Strong academic background · Strong PC Modelling skills including Excel and experience of MI Databases or a similar system for enquiry and analysis Supplementary Experience · Experience of multi dimensional databases and General Ledger systems · Experience gained within the Financial Services sector would be an advantage The Individual · Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and under pressure to tight deadlines · Pro-active approach with an inquiring mind, driven and self motivated with good attention to detail · Quick learner and self starter · Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels · Excellent organisational skills Additional Website Text · Achieving Excellence - 3 · Inspiring - 3 · Building understanding & trust - 3 · Collaborating for success - 3 · Understanding issues - 3 · Influencing - 3 · Communicating - 3 · Developing people - 3 · Gathering information - 3 · Finding solutions - 3
