Background AXA Insurance is one of the largest general insurers in the UK and underwrites a broad range of products for individuals and businesses. Products are distributed primarily through brokers and corporate partners, with a growing presence in the direct market through its website www.axa.co.uk and Swiftcover, the 100% online insurance provider. You will be working within the operational support team of CLI, based at our new offices in Middlebrook, near Bolton. This role sits within the central team responsible for monitoring and analysing all aspects of performance of the Commercial Lines Intermediary Unit. This comprises 800 people based throughout the UK. You will be heavily involved in building and supporting the reporting capability of our new policy administration system (AXIS), due to come on stream over the next few weeks. You will either have, or be keen to gain, a professional insurance qualification at foundation level. This will give you the level of business knowledge you will need to be credible with your customers. The role Your key accountabilities are to; - Use various MI sources to collate all relevant information to produce the required level and frequency of reporting required to support CLI Operations.
- Analyse the information to support the CLI Operational management in delivering market leading levels of Customer Service.
- Continually interpret reports issued to the CLI Operational management team.
- Use detailed observations and enquiries to understand the implications of the data obtained and make tactical and strategic recommendations and commentary to CLI Operational Management around processes, individual performance and KPIs.
- Work with operational managers to develop improved and innovative service driven KPIs at individual, team and unit level, putting the customer at the centre of everything we do.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour - GCSE Mathematics and English, or equivalent.
- In depth knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel & database applications.
- Experience in an analytical role, recommending and implementing actions.
- Knowledge of web intelligence / business objects (preferred).
