As MI Analyst you will be responsible for not only statistical analysis and manipulation of data, but also the development of Business Intelligence solutions to meet business needs. This will include:- - Effectively identifying, analysing and resolving problems relating to products, processes, systems or resourcing needs
- Ensuring documentation meets business requirements and is compliant with Santander methodology
- Interpreting data accurately and presenting it in a way that accords with Santander format and standards
- Working to tight deadlines and managing own workload
As MI Analyst/Developer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:- - Experience of working with large data sets within a project, business or modelling/ scheduling environment
- Proficiency in VBA, SQL, Access, Excel, Word and ASP.net
- Business Objects experience helpful but not essential
- Excellent analytical skills and creative/conceptual problem solving ability
- Familiar with project management methodology and techniques
- Practical knowledge of a Retail banking business would be useful
