This is an opportunity to join this well established business at a managerial level, with responsibility for credit and compliance- It is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in all aspects of finance, noting the full life-cycle scope of the Marine Business-
Working as part of the Marine Management Team, with responsibly for the credit function and compliance aspects of the business- Focus on credit submissions / reviews, including large and complex transactions, involving multiple jurisdictions and complex ownership structures- Working with other members of the Marine Management Team and the Head of Marine Finance, develop and deliver a strategy for long term growth-
Requirements
Proven excellent Credit skills, to Diploma level as a minimum Excellent communication and analytical skills, to allow full understanding of client's financial affairs to be articulated Organised approach to maintaining Compliance standards within the business An ability to input into the strategic direction of the business
Responsibilities
All aspects of Credit within Marine Providing Credit training and support to RMs and ARMs Preparation of first class credit submissions Production and / or review of RM's Credit submissions and where appropriate, providing CAF level 3 Business approval of these- Be the prime point of contact between Marine and Lombard Credit Input into Credit Policy and participate in the presentation of these to Lombard Risk Policy Committee Manage the Governance and Compliance aspects of the Business Work as part of the Marine team to achieve business objectives
