Job Description
Following the promotion of several existing personnel, we are seeking to recruit up to three people to join the South West & South Wales Structured Debt Solutions Team, operating within Business & Commercial Banking- These are transactional roles working with RM's and external advisors to source, structure and deliver debt driven solutions for customers seeking finance for acquisitions / buyouts / partial equity realisations-
Requirements
- Negotiating, structuring and delivering debt based solutions for deals originated from existing customer base;
- Liaising with internal & external partners (Credit, lawyers, advisors ) to ensure effective deal management;
- Working closely with RMs / CBCs to promote capability and originate new opportunities;
- Maintain internal and external profile through deal promotion / contact strategy / activity;
Responsibilities
- Achieving a financial target;
- Leading presentations at Sightings Committee / Credit;
- Working closely with CBC colleagues to originate opportunities from our client base;
- Being seen as a point of excellence by RMs / Credit / External partners
- Maintaining internal & external profile ;
- Effective deal management;
- Maintaining accurate log of activity / records on COMPASS
The Individual
- A strong technical skill set;
- Deal structuring experience and comprehensive knowledge of Commercial products;
- Can demonstrate ability to negotiate with / influence others;
- Able to demonstrate strong organisational , planning and time management skills;
- Self motivated with ability to work on own;
