Job Description The job holders role is to support the Head of Debt Investor Relations in representing the Group liaising directly with the international investment community, predominantly institutional debt investors , discussing a wide variety of topics including:-
Performance of the Group
Strategy
Industry issues
Requirements
Numerate - with a detailed knowledge of City analysis techniques and developments
Excellent communication and presentation skills-
Deep understanding of developments in banking industry relative to RBSG
Must have or develop excellent network of relationships within RBSG Centre-
Commonsense / commercial awareness in dealing with questions-
Gravitas' and credibility with Financial institutions
Responsibilities
Use judgement and innovative thinking to evaluate appropriate information and respond to a diverse range of queries (both recurring and one off in nature) raised by investors
Develop knowledge of the Group and market to establish arguments consolidating a wealth of information on a wide variety of topics from multiple sources, supporting the Group's strategy and messages-
Prepare presentations for investor meetings
Build relationships within the Group / Treasury to assist team profile raising and information gathering and data production
Manage / expand debt investor information on the internet and intranet
Develop and manage a database of debt investor activities
Rating agency management under supervision of Head of Debt IR
The Individual
Qualified Accountant or Banker with significant post qualification experience-
Knowledge of City valuation and analysis techniques-
Corporate Finance / Analytical background
Familiar with Corporate Affairs and relationship management activities-
