Purpose of the role - Deliver comprehensive, world-class learning & development programmes for Corporate Banking-
- Contribute to developing excellent learning solutions that support the Corporate Banking People Plans
- Work collaboratively with Programme/Project Sponsors to manage learning projects ensuring that they are delivered on time and that risks are managed
- Provide a flexible consultancy service to the business, working quickly to diagnose issues and delivering projects to implement solutions-
- Take ownership of learning content, ensuring it remains fit for purpose, and is well maintained-
Responsibilities · Management of a pre-defined and specific volume of consultant work, as agreed with programme sponsors and programme/project managers- · Manage and deliver projects that will span all areas of learning activity and pan divisional areas · Identifying project risks and working with stakeholders to mitigate their impact, or escalating if required · Building collaborative relationships across the division in order to deliver projects successfully · Designing and delivering learning initiatives that meet internal quality standards · Proactive diagnosis of business requirements, using organisational knowledge to recommend learning options and solutions to project sponsors and business stakeholders · Providing technical input and advice to the business · Engage and manage external suppliers as appropriate · Requesting, generating and analysing information in order to diagnose issues and make appropriate recommendations · Maintaining personal development activities · To deliver Learning initiatives, taking individual responsibility for continuous development and improvement of delivery as well as content through constructive feedback, measured by participant validation and management feedback- · Maintain an up to date and thorough knowledge of all products and learning content relevant to role- · Evaluate learning initiatives providing information on the return on investment and/or expectations- · Achievement of the role performance plan objectives- Requirements · Consultancy with technical and professional learning knowledge · Designing, developing and delivering learning solutions · Project Management disciplines and methodologies · Evidence of planning & organising skills · Ability to take initiative and resolve problems Other Significant Role Requirements: · Individual Responsibility and self motivation - take initiative to resolve issues and ability to drive activity forward for project ensuring deadlines met and business benefit achieved · Interdependence - strong team working between other functions and all key stakeholders · Excellent communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness The Individual Technical Knowledge: · Excellent knowledge of Corporate Banking processes · Understanding of Learning & Design methodologies & Delivery Media · Project Management Skills · Understanding of Budget forecasting, monitoring & reporting Financial Management: · Management of financial budgets within agreed project limits-
