Background
September 2009 was something of a landmark month for Wealth Management with the creation of a new strategic business unit, AXA Wealth, bringing all our wealth propositions together under one umbrella. The first step in AXA Wealth's restructure took place in mid-September when AXA DS and the Elevate wrap platform became a core element of the wealth management proposition. In addition to AXA DS, AXA Wealth is also made up of AXA Winterthur Wealth Management, Architas Multi-Manager and AXA Wealth International, which includes the Isle of Man and the Dublin businesses. Our Internal Communications team are looking to recruit a Consultant to coordinate the internal communication programme for AXA Wealth and support the wider AXA Life and Group programmes. You will aslo be required to deputise for Internal Communication Manager. This role is based primarily in Basingstoke but regular travel to Bristol will be required and occasional travel to other offices or event locations may be required.
The role
- To coordinate and deliver AXA Wealth messages using the most effective channel and to a high standard
- To supportkey campaigns and activities driven by the AXA Wealth business
- To develop the use and functionality of the email tool Concep within AXA Wealth
- To develop and managecontent for Wealth intranet site and maintain other channels including poster sites, plasma screens etc
- To measure the effectiveness of communication via Concep and the introduction of regular online temperature checks
- To lead on one major campaign
- To deputise for Internal Communication Manager
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
- Proven internal communications experience
- Enthusiastic and committed with a can do attitude
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Good presentation skills, lateral thinker, creative
- Technical competence - knowledge of intranets, online email
- Good networking skills
- Good planning and organisational skills with experience of working to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of financial services - familiarity with AXA operations an advantage
