Background AXA Insurance is one of the largest general insurers in the UK and underwrites a broad range of products for individuals and businesses. As a Independent Partner Executive, you will work with the Team Manager to increase the volume of business from the Broker Panel and improve retention rates on existing business. You will also be involved in promoting AXA products and act as contact point for a range of customers to resolve their queries on Personal Lines business. This appointment is offered on a six month contract basis. The role - You will be responsible for a panel of Independent brokers, regularly contacting & discussing business opportunities & development
- Growth of GWP and targeted profitability
- Help increase overall business volumes and retention rates
- Support Campaign activity with outbound calling and to liaise with and support other areas of PLI who may undertake calling
- Deliver PRODUCT campaigns for nil, low and high user EDI community
- Promote new product launches
- Deliver Retention Campaigns, price match, discount etc
- Cross sell wherever appropriate
- Achieve sales campaign targets
- Effective development of broker panel
- Manage broker relationship and their AXA account
- Maintain underwriting standards in line with the principles of managing underwriting
- Influence brokers to re-broke to electronic, profitable & new products
- Support products rationalisation strategies
- Promote external use of Extranet and E-settlement with brokers
- Conduct site visits as appropriate
Skills, knowledge and behaviour - Knowledge of Insurance market gained through sound experience of working within general insurance.
- Understanding of general insurance products, in particular personal lines business.
- Educated to A level standard or equivalent
- Good numeracy skills - ideally supported by a numerate qualification.
- Systems and related process knowledge
- Understanding of FSA and Compliance requirements
- Proven negotiation, influencing and sales skills
- Effective time management skills.
