| Job Description |
Job Description - Represent HR Director and the Global HR function through the GBM, Group and pan-Divisional risk and regulatory governance processes and forums-
- Manage the identification of HR and GBM people risks and audit issues globally, ensuring effective management, mitigation and control together with the meeting of reporting requirements for GBM HR-
- Monitor, identify and ensure effective action planning for HR issues associated with roles that include Controlled Functions 1-20 and their incumbents, ensuring that relevant FSA regulatory requirements which fall to Divisional HR are met-
- Monitor and co-ordinate business continuity for GBM HR, ensuring effective Incident Management and Business Continuity processes and people capabilities are in place enabling the recovery of HR, and supporting the business when an event occurs-
Requirements Business: - Proven experience of working in risk management across a business unit-
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the FSA and other regulatory regimes and associated issues- Has worked in a number of business areas and understands the broader business issues-
- Management of cross-functional projects demonstrating the importance of incorporating people matters and risk into business plans and process-
- Project
Management Technical: - Risk management tools and processes-
- Relevant knowledge of regulation and legislation, e-g- FSA, Basel II, Combined Code and Sarbanes-Oxley Project Management-
Responsibilities Governance - Represent GBM HR on the HR Operational Risk Forum representing GBM People/HR risks and issues and identifying the GBM impact of new and emerging risks at pan-Divisional and Group levels-
- Syndicate Risk initiatives with the GBM HRD and the HR Leadership Team as appropriate to ensure buy-in and effective exchange of Risk information across GBM HR- This includes interface with GBM HR teams in Asia, Europe and North America-
- Manage representation on the HR Operational Risk Forum and HR Business Continuity Forum to ensure effective representation of GBM HR's interests at this level-
- Produce, analyse and validate the Quarterly Certification Process for GBM HR, for sign off by the HRD to meet the compliance requirements of the Chief Executive, GBM-
- Represent GBM HR at the GBM Health & Safety PCC embedding governance processes and raising awareness within the HR Function-
Operational Risk and controls - Control the development of HR and People risk profiles, their communication and management, ensuring the impacts are understood, mitigated and controlled- Manage Audit relationship and partner during audits, then ensure audit points and the control environment is improved and maintained-
- Challenge and support the business and the HR teams in developing strategies for the effective identification and management of people risk-
- Develop and maintain awareness of risk across GBM HR, influence risk attitude and identify HR and people issues-
- Drive the production of risk and issues MI relevant to the needs of HR and the business-
Regulatory Risk - Support and overview the activity of the Business Partners supporting GBM departments with roles fulfilling FSA Controlled Functions 1-20 to ensure active, effective and competent management of the relevant HR processes-
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Regulatory Risk to enable effective governance-
- Ensure effective management of SIAP role profile records to FSA governance requirements-
Business Continuity - Determine and control implementation of GBM HR strategy for Business Continuity, ensure appropriate tactical response to business recovery and other incidents, and health and safety issues-
- Provide Divisional HR support to the Group HR Silver Team, ensuring GBM HR interests are effectively represented-
- Develop, maintain and monitor effective HR Primary Bronze Team and Local Bronze Team support to HR business recovery-
Other Support - The identification of risks and issues within GBM HR Projects, acting as subject matter expert as required-
