Job Description The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively within the HR team to deliver large and/or complex HR Programmes ensuring that they are delivered on time and that risks are managed- The role holder will be accountable for the tracking of individual worksteams and reporting of overall progress, whilst being expected to operate at a strategic level and work collaboratively within the HR team to lead the delivery of the programme, ensuring delivery on time, full customer engagement at all stages and benefits realised- The role holder will act as a role model providing guidance and mentoring to HR colleagues and the business as appropriate- They will also support and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the team-
Responsibilities
To manage and deliver large and/or complex HR Programmes within the Group- These will span all areas of HR related activity e-g- Restructures, change programmes, talent management, succession planning, reward & recognition, employee engagement/feedback and measurement-
Work closely with the key stakeholders in the business and in the divisional HR teams to understand the short & medium term strategic plans of the Businesses and work with colleagues to ensure new processes are aligned to those plans-
Proactively identify and diagnose business requirements and use organisational knowledge to recommend options and solutions to stakeholders which are best aligned to business and Group HR objectives-
Building collaborative relationships cross functionally in order to deliver Programmes on time and budgets
On areas where specialist knowledge is held - to provide thought leadership to help shape and drive value-adding activity-
Providing technical input and HR advice to the business (involving Group HR specialists where appropriate)-
Conducting research including qualitative and quantitative data collection-
The Individual
Excellent programme management experience
Proven skills in delivering large HR Programmes would be beneficial
HR Consultancy experience
Strong diagnostic and solution skills
This role requires individuals to work with a high degree of autonomy with significant levels of ambiguity around the process
Individuals will need to be 'self-starters' in terms of building networks and engage as appropriate with key stakeholders - in the main at Senior Management/Executive level
Professional qualification (CIPD)/degree would be desirable but not essential
To be aware of the financial implications of HR initiatives ·
Ability to make a direct connection between work activity and value to the business
International experience preferred
