| Job Description |
Job Description Purpose of the role: The HR Consultant assists the HR Business Partners to meet key objectives through the innovative use of the human resources, by leading, participating in and contributing to a variety of project based assignments- Requirements Deliverables: - To manage and deliver large and/or complex HR projects or programmes, change programmes, HR and organisational initiatives across the full spectrum of HR and business activities;
- Effectively provide high quality HR activity;
- Successfully deliver tailor made business solutions;
- Providing technical input and HR advice to the business (involving HR specialists where appropriate);
- Effectively measure HR activity and value add utilising MI, customer feedback and tracking mechanisms;
- Engage stakeholders (HR team, specialists, business etc) in support of initiatives;
- Proactively identify and diagnose business requirements and use organisational knowledge to recommend options and solutions to stakeholders which are best aligned to business objectives;
- Identifying project/programme risks and advising / working with stakeholders to mitigate their impact, or escalating if required;
- Conducting research including qualitative and quantitative data collection;
- Engage and manage external suppliers as appropriate;
- Requesting, generating and analysing specific information in order to help diagnose issues and make appropriate recommendations;
- Maintaining personal development activities;
- Building collaborative relationships cross functionally in order to deliver projects to time and budgets;
- Passionately put customers and their interests at the heart of all you do and at the centre of all activities;
- The role holder may also be required to perform tasks within the HR function, which are not specifically aligned to Business Partnering-
Responsibilities Scope of Role: This role requires individuals to work with a high degree of autonomy on large projects working with significant levels of ambiguity around the process; · Projects are likely to have significant risks associated with them and significant business impact- Financial Management: · May have responsibility for project budgets; · To be aware of the financial implications of HR initiatives; · Ability to make a direct connection between work activity and value to the business- The Individual Experience: - Generalist HR experience;
- Experience within a consultancy environment;
- Relationship management of multiple individuals at a middle level;
- Project management experience;
- Experience of Greenfield set up would be advantageous-
