| Job Description |
Background An opportunity has arisen to join the AXA UK HR Business team as a strategic business partner, supporting one or more business units within AXA Insurance. This could be either the commercial lines business, personal lines or corporate partners. The role This is a role that will rely heavily on your strategic capability as you influence and steer the creation of people plans that will enable the delivery and implementation of business strategy - aligned to the overall AXA UK HR strategy. - You will own and drive the implementation of bespoke HR strategic initiatives that will support your customers to deliver their people plans.
- You will have detailed knowledge of relevant industry and market knowledge as you will gather intelligence and share market trends on best in class people management processes with your business customers and influence business strategy.
- You will develop and maintain strong relationships; contracting with the services of the HR Centres of Excellence to deliver for your business area.
- You will proactively manage these relationships and seek and act upon feedback where necessary.
- Your project management and leadership skills will be employed significantly in this role as you will champion and lead transversal HR projects and initiatives ensuring successful embedding within the business area.
- You will also lead on organisational design and change management, coaching business leaders on its effective implementation.
- People planning will be a significant responsibility in your role as you will lead succession planning and ensure achievable talent action plans are in place to create a pipeline of talent and sustainable organisational capability.
- You will also drive a culture of business ownership and accountability for people management practices.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour - You will be a commercially aware HR professional or have the relevant people management experience with a proven track record of delivery of strategic people development.
- You will have experience of managing organisational change e.g. mergers and acquisitions, integration programmes, change management, organisational design in large organisations and have some experience of a centre of excellence (e.g. Resourcing, Reward, Learning & Development, Employee Relations & HR Services ).
- You will be a strong customer-focused individual who is able to operate in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and; be able to successfully influence senior stakeholders.

What will you get from this role? - Base salary circa £38,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
