Job Description

Purpose of Job
  • To receive visitors at the reception and ensure that all guests are warmly welcomed
  • To ensure that the reception is immaculate and well run at all times
  • To uphold the bank's image and quality service standards so as to ensure an excellent client experience at the reception
  • To receive incoming calls
  • To provide administrative support where required


    Responsibilities
    Guest Relations Duties
    • Switchboard duties ie- attend to client calls, queries
    • Meet and greet clients and escort them to our office, log client visits, maintain a database of client preferences profile, manage client room booking system
    • Welcome clients to our guest lounge area and extend the necessary courtesies to make them feel comfortable ie- serve drinks, chat, etc
    • Alert Private Banker when client is fully settled in at our office; assist Private Bankers during client/ Private Banker lunch in meetings-
    • Extend concierge service to our clients e-g- booking taxis, restaurant reservations, etc-
    • Assist in client events where possible
    • Ensure client area maintains the high quality setting e-g- brand image, cleanliness, stationery, equipment, furniture, client restrooms well maintained
    • Client pantry well stocked e-g- crockery, food items, etc
    Administration Duties
    • Access pass issuance and log, welcome and orientate visitors to office
    • Coordination with HR onboarding assistant for new joiners e-g- business card, name stamps, specimen signatures
    • Send Administration welcome announcement to new joiners e-g- staff orientation, what we do, where to get useful info , etc
    • Update staff phone list, intranet People Finder, MAS representative number, etc
    • Work closely with Admin dept on ad hoc duties as assigned e-g- set up of AV equipment, studio room for internal staff meetings
