GRG's prime function is to undertake positive and active management of the Bank's problem lending portfolio- The Department seeks to add value to exposure management with the aim of returning accounts to the originating Group Business Unit / Subsidiary in a "satisfactory" condition, maximise debt recoveries and obtain levels of reward commensurate with risks undertaken-


    Requirements
    This role will report to the head of finance for GRG as well as the COO of GRG Europe- This person will act as the key GRG finance contact for GRG Europe- The role will involve the following responsibilities


      Responsibilities
      · Ensuring robust and accurate GRG portfolio MI from GRG Europe to GRG Finance in London · Acting as key liaison on finance matters for GRG Europe · Establishing contact network in ABN/RBS NV to ensure GRG are receiving detailed MI on provision bookings and balance sheet · Act as key coordinator for GRG Europe for provisions forms and submissions to GRG Finance for Committee · Dealing with ad hoc information requests and queries on GRG Europe portfolio from internal and external stakeholders to GRG- · Acting as facilitator for the APS team in information requests and data submissions for GRG Europe · Working closely with GRG finance and operations in ensuring consistent frameworks and controls are in place globally- · Working with GRG finance for enhancing the financial MI and reporting for GRG Europe · Assisting in the delivery of Prism enhancement and ABN migration · Provision of cost information for GRG Europe to GRG finance in London- · Direct report of GRG FD-


        The Individual
        · Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA · Requires minimum 2+ years of relevant financial services experience · Good experience of financial reporting controls · Knowledge of ABN finance, systems, controls and procedures · Attention to detail and accuracy is essential · Experience of multiple stake holder management · Experience of driving process improvement · Strong PC skills- in particular Excel · Strong process and systems skills and understanding
