Requirements
· Quality of strategies to improve the Bank's position and deals completed, including an appropriate risk return where possible · Team performance- To be a meaningful contributor to overall team achievement against the key financial performance measures and budgets
· Portfolio turnover (value of debt repaid or returned to satisfactory)
· Return on Portfolio - fee income/margin enhancement/interest recovered
· Provisions to be marked and released in an accurate and timely manner
· Enhances reputation of GRG within the Bank and the wider professional community
· Minimise incidence of complaints in general and avoid in entirety any instances where the complaint could be justified
· Obtain value for money for professional services
· Reference point for insolvency technical matters across GRG UK-
Responsibilities
· A relevant professional qualification (e-g- Accounting or Legal- JIEB an advantage) · Post qualification experience of restructuring including detailed up to date technical knowledge of corporate and personal insolvency processes
· Proficient recovery, corporate lending and customer management skills
· Proven ability to motivate others & work as part of a team
· Ability to identify key components of a problem and formulate workable solutions
· Knowledge of and a proven ability to apply a variety of negotiation tools and techniques
· Comfortable communicating at all levels
· Proven client handling skills
· Has a clear sense of priorities, tackles work in an organised manner to meet deadlines and delegates where appropriate-
The Individual
· Direct responsibility for the effective management of a varied portfolio of distressed debt situations · Able to communicate openly and fairly with clients so they understand the parameters of the Bank's support and options available
· Works to high standards and produces quality output-prioritises effectively and hits deadlines
· Up to date in depth knowledge of relevant legal, accounting and insolvency environment
· Able to network effectively and build professional contacts-
