Description
Global Asset Management Audit (AMA) is seeking to recruit an experienced ACA (or equivalent qualification) to report to the Head of Asset Management audit in the UK. Whilst the AMA team has responsibility for the UBS Global Asset Management Division on a global basis, duties would principally be performed in London. Key roles will be:
Assessing the adequacy of the internal control environment of the Global Asset Management Division (approximately CHF 900 billion in Invested Assets) through the identification of inherent risks in the business and key controls designed to mitigate those risks
Performing and leading audits within all business areas (including Asset Allocation, Fixed Income, Equities, Alternative and Quantitative, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Fund Services)
Learning the global organization and developing international skill-sets and experiences
Performing and leading audits to ensure that controls are working satisfactorily and identifying weaknesses where they are not
Generating practical recommendations to address control weaknesses and discussing recommendations with local management.
Reporting our findings to the board, the business and local management.
Requirements
- Knowledge of risk based audit approach gained through post qualification experience at top investment bank/ asset manager or financial services practice of Big 4 audit firm
- Knowledge of financial services/ Investment Management / trading products
- ACA or CFA or Equivalent Qualification
- Ideally university educated
- Motivation to continue professional education and development, e.g. attainment of / progression towards further relevant industry qualifications such as CFA / Securities Institute Diploma.
- Team player, willing to share experience and knowledge.
- Good project management skills.
- Committed to achieving AMA audit objectives.
- Ambitious and highly motivated.
