Job Description Responsibility for undertaking indepth detailed financial analysis to add value to the credit decisioning process within Global Merchant Services (GMS)- This role covers the GMS business across a portfolio of specific sectors- Ø Produce timely and effective financial analysis of SME, Corporate and Institutional customers to support the credit decisioning process- Ø Produce timely and effective analysis of specific sectors and countries to support credit decisioning and risk appetite discussions- Ø Undertake ongoing, independent research of specific sectors, to ensure that the job holder and wider GMS team are abreast of external regulation/policy changes and/or economic factors, and the impact these may have on a sector or individual customers Ø Procure financial information and industry knowledge from a wide range of sources, including direct from customers Ø Effective communication of analysis and research to the wider GMS team Ø Provide early identification of deteriorating financial metrics of existing customers- Ø Provide appropriate support to GMS to enable them to discharge their responsibilities under Credit Stewardship and the Credit Authority Framework Ø Liaise with external rating companies in providing appropriate credit ratings against customers/sectors/countries- Ø Continuously evaluate efficiency/effectiveness and lead implementation of new processes delivering service improvement- Ø Support Senior Credit Manager in delivery of overall GMS Credit business plan- Requirements See attached role profile For additional information on this role click here
