The Department
Group Consolidation & Control department (GC&C) in Group Finance is responsible for instructing, receiving and consolidating the external and statutory financial information for RBS- Before the consolidated financial information is reported to RBS Group in Edinburgh it is reviewed and analyzed- The department works in close cooperation with the Accounting Policy and External Reporting departments in RBS N-V- and the Shared Services department in RBS Group- Together with the teams in India and Amsterdam for Management Information Reporting and Systems the department employs approximately 60 staff-
Your Role
As a Financial analyst with GC&C you will perform the current DNB reporting process- Where possible you will improve and strengthen the process along the way- You will use your financial analytical and practical IT skills for gathering, analysing and collating reporting data for timely delivery- Furthermore you will answer queries from the department External Reporting and the DNB- You will also closely liaise with the financial departments and update management each month on the process and deliverables to the DNB-
Your Profile
· Academic degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration · At least two years experience with financial analysis · Experience with DNB Statistical reporting is a preference · Good knowledge of accounting and finance · Great IT skills · Strong analytical skills · Good language skills in Dutch and English · Self-starter · Able to deliver against deadlines · Flexible · Stress tolerant; performs well under pressure · Team player · Knowledge of system Axiom is a preference
