Job Description To support Executive Reward policy work within RBS- This will include the drafting of various Remuneration Committee papers around Executive Reward policy, managing the implementation of executive reward policies and co-ordinating the input into Remuneration Committees
Responsibilities
Project management and co-ordination of input to the regular RBS Remuneration Committees, ensuring input is received and disseminated on a timely basis
Support in the preparation of Remuneration Committee papers in relation the Executive Reward
Ensuring timely and accurate delivery against the Group-wide reward reporting requirements, in particular those related to Remuneration Committees
Facilitating the implementation of reward policies across the R&B team and the wider Group, particularly in relation to executive reward policies
Work closely with colleagues involved with regulated reward and governance and assurance to ensure compliance
Project management responsibility for other Reward projects as appropriate
The Individual
Understanding of process design, and project management, ideally evidenced by an in-house reward experience
A track record of executive compensation design and implementation is desirable, for example remuneration consultancy work-
Very good attention to detail
Ability to partner effectively with business-facing reward "Technical Partners" to facilitate delivery
Ability to influence more widely in order to achieve compliance with processes and timely delivery across a broad cross section of the Group, primarily within Group HR including the divisional HR directors
Capable of working in often time pressured environment and to accept ongoing change
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise form, particularly in written form
Experience of applying reward knowledge in a Financial Services environment
Strong project/process management experience-
Strong numerical skills
Highly experience in the use for Microsoft Office particularly Excel-
Technical experience in Remuneration & Benefits desirable in order to play a part in wider team activity-
