Job Description Responsible for Decision Support for Markets the team forms part of Markets Finance- Providing analytical & development support to the business and management team- Areas of coverage include management information, financial management and non standard financial reporting- The team also drives the development and review of prospective information such as budgets, forecasts, projections, targets, plans and investment propositions- In addition to providing support to the business executives, the team are expected to guide and influence the key decision makers within the business and finance, to target the financial parameters that are key to achieving the financial goals & metrics of Global Banking and Markets- Requirements - P-C- literate, interested in extending their skills:- A good working knowledge of Excel is essential
- Basic financial modelling and scenario planning
- Numerate and meticulous- Must have good attention to detail-
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and to take the initiative-
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task-

Responsibilities The global markets business is a portfolio of diverse significant businesses- The decision support team is largely aligned by business- There is a requirement to support the Equities Origination business - main responsibilities of the team include: - Preparation of EMEA monthly forecasts, strategic plans, and annual budgets- This will include detailed reviews of global recruitment plans, pipeline revenue projections, and calculation of EMEA cost base-
- Consolidation of global forecasts, strategic plans, and annual budgets- This will involve close working relationships between regional business and finance teams and the global business heads
- Responsibility for all aspects of EMEA product control and financial reporting
- Support the EO Business by providing management information on a standard and ad hoc basis
Role This role will work within the Equities Origination Decision Support team and provide management information and analysis to both the Business and other areas of finance- Responsibilities include; - Direct cost analysis and control for the Global EO business
- Client invoicing and credit control function for fees
- Group reporting of monthly performance
- Production of monthly MI packs
- Production of monthly forecasts for the business and year end budgets
- Generally supporting MI requirements of Business as required
- Interaction with other finance areas to ensure consistent and accurate reporting
- Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as requested-
