Based in our offices in Basingstoke; we currently have an great opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Architect to work on a range of exciting projects that are transforming our business into the digital arena.
The role
Your role will be to provide Architectural guidance and design to the IT project teams in relation to a wide range of challenging and interesting projects. With a strong application focus and positive promotion of re-use; your strong design skills will be instrumental to the success of our business moving forward. You will be expected to take an active role in developing the skills of the architectural practice and the wider team; sharing your design experience and pressing the importance of getting it right first time as well as increasing their understanding how the business is impacted by their designs. In addition to strong technical skills, the key to this role will be your inclusive, reflective and highly inquisitive mind-set coupled with your authoritative, convincing yet sympathetic approach.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate: - Extensive Enterprise Architectural experience (theory and application) with superb hands-on design skills.
- Extensive experience of working across complex architectures using a wide range of products and packages
- The ability to communicate, educate, negotiate and influence at all levels
- Ability to present information concisely and to clearly identify key issues
- Up to date knowledge, keen interest and an inquisitive mind-set in leading edge technology and associated vendors.
- Understanding of systems life cycles and system integration
- Track record of collaboration and re-use of solutions in global organisations
